Building Your Business Process Framework Structure

Once you have your Framework, and Hierarchy levels defined, you can now start building your business process levels by creating Framework nodes. These will allow you to create the structure that will be copied over to the business processes within the Lifecycle Services.

NOTE: This is part of the Creating Lifecycle Services Business Process Models with the Task Recorder blueprint series where we show how to use the Task Recorder feature within Dynamics AX to create template business process models within Lifecycle Services. 3. When the Save node dialog box is displayed, set the Node name. You can also add a Node description, a Module and also an Operation group. Then click the Save button to add the node to the framework.
  4. Repeat the process for any other base processes that you want to add to your business process.
  5. To add sub-nodes to your business processes, just select an existing node, and click on the New node menu item from within the Manage group of the Record ribbon bar of the Task Recorder.
  6. When the Save node dialog box is displayed, set the Node name. You can also add a Node description, a Module and also an Operation group. Then click the Save button to add the node to the framework.
